Schedule set for massive 2024 Box Nationals as Victoria look to hold off challengers in search for back-to-back crowns

The 2024 Lacrosse Australia Mens & Womens Box National Championships are only TEN days away as teams from Lacrosse Victoria, Lacrosse SA, Lacrosse WA, Lacrosse Queensland and Lacrosse NSW descend on the Alan Lewer Box Court for FIVE days of elite Australia box lacrosse.

With spots at the 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championships on the line, expect the fireworks to fly as Australia's best Box lacrosse players put it all on the line. Victoria will look to home court advantage with box crowns on the line but the visiting States are brining some pretty stacked lineups this year.

On the Men’s side, Victoria will be out to defend their 2024 crown after reclaiming the silverware in 2023. Victoria’s lineup is stacked but they will face some stiff competition from 2019 champs, Western Australia, and last years runners-up South Australia. Queensland and New South Wales will also not be taken lightly with both sides boasting talent all across the Court and capable of springing some upsets. All sides will meeting across the first 4 days with the top 2 progressing to Sunday’s final.

On the Women’s side, last years inaugural champs will be looking to make it back-to-back however they face a deeper Western Australian side, a more potent South Australia and a more experienced Queensland side. The sides will meet in round robin play before the top 2 progress to a bumper final on Saturday night under lights in what will be an absolute must-see event.

Games will be running all day and night at the Altona Lacrosse Club with plenty on during the day for those that can make it and some cracking marque games under lights kicking off on the Wednesday with the official unveiling of the Alan Lewer Box Court.

Both draws will then reach their thrilling conclusions with a MASSIVE Women's title match on Saturday night,, including a newly minted Women's trophy (details to be announced shortly!) and of course the Men's final on Sunday.
